A Message Regarding COVID-19 Outbreak

Amid ongoing concern about the coronavirus COVID-19, Portsmouth Escape Room's top priority is the health and safety of our guests and employees. We continue to monitor the situation and follow CDC guidelines in regards to best practices. In light of the recent outbreak, we wanted to reach out and provide additional information regarding our current procedures.

While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our facility, we are working even more diligently to create a secure and comfortable environment by doing the following:
  • We have increased the frequency of our cleanings by disinfecting locks, handles, door knobs, and other touchable surfaces in between every game.

  • We are removing from our lobby items that are touched often, such as photo signs and brainteasers in order to reduce exposure.

  • We understand participating in a group activity with strangers during this time might be a bit intimidating, so we are making games all private at no additional cost until April 9th.

  • We ask our guests to refrain from participating in this activity if you have any unexplained symptoms, if you have traveled abroad or if you think you may have come in contact with an infected individual (see below what to do in case of cancelation).

  • We are asking all guests to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer before and after every game. Gloves are available by request.

Please forgive us if game resets take a little longer than usual while we have these measures in place.

With all our efforts and the diligence of our awesome team, we feel confident that we are doing all we can to provide a safe place for you to visit. We want all our guests to feel comfortable and confident when visiting and enjoying Portsmouth Escape Room.

We're committed to being responsive and flexible to our customers' needs, and we understand if you prefer to cancel your booking instead. In this case, we are making an exception to our usual cancelation policy by offering full store credit that never expires. Please send us an email at contact@portsmouthescaperoom.com with booking last name, date and time to request credit.
